Introducing the Konica Minolta Hi-Matic AF2, an iconic 35mm auto focus film camera produced by Konica Minolta in 1981. This camera represents a significant milestone in the history of photography, as it was one of the first mass-produced autofocus cameras.
The Hi-Matic AF2 boasts a sleek and compact design, making it an ideal companion for photographers on the go. Its dimensions measure approximately 138mm (W) x 84mm (H) x 40mm (D), and it weighs around 510 grams, including the battery and a standard 35mm film cartridge.
The camera features a built-in CdS (Cellulose Acetate Diethyl-Zinc) light meter, which ensures accurate exposure readings in various lighting conditions. This allows the user to shoot with confidence, knowing that their images will be well-exposed. The Hi-Matic AF2 also includes a programmed auto-exposure (AE) system, which automatically selects the appropriate aperture and shutter speed based on the metered light and film ISO setting.
One of the standout features of the Hi-Matic AF2 is its autofocus mechanism. This innovative technology eliminates the need for manual focus adjustments, making it easier for users to capture sharp images, especially in situations where quick focusing is essential.
The Hi-Matic AF2 comes with a retractable 40mm f/2.8 Rokkor prime lens, which offers a bright aperture and high image quality. The lens is known for its excellent sharpness, contrast, and color rendition, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of photographic subjects.

Comes with everything you see, including the often lost lens cover and case. Very clean, couldn't imagine that they don't work as these come from a well known photographer in the area where I live.
