Details:

The winding mechanism doesn't always reset after every shot. The take up spool is mangled, but they are easily replaced. This pre wwii VoigtlaNder vito is in good condition. The shutter mechanism, lens, and filter are in fantastic condition.

Due to the pin being partly missing on bottom frame, it takes extra time line up properly. The winding gear stays locked. This would be a great parts camera for another vito missing the lens or shutter. The biggest issue is that the pin on bottom partly missing, resulting in difficulty when opening and closing camera.

These were manufactured between 1939 and 1940. I purchased it like this, thinking that could fix it, but don't have a donor body to borrow from. It does cost a bit more, but in my view, its worth it. Please see pictures.

The shutter fires every time at mostly accurate speeds and the aperture blades operate smoothly. However, it does have a few minor issues. I use priority mail and had good luck with it. Other than that, it is in remarkable condition.
