The Argus AF390D is a 35mm film camera that comes with an auto-focus system and a pop-up flash. Here are some pros and cons that might help you decide whether or not to purchase this camera:

Pros:

1. Auto-focus system: The Argus AF390D's auto-focus system can help ensure that your subjects are in sharp focus, making it easier to capture clear and detailed images.

2. Pop-up flash: The built-in flash can be useful in low-light situations or when taking close-up shots. It can help illuminate your subject and prevent blurry or underexposed images.

3. Compact and portable: The Argus AF390D is a relatively small and lightweight camera, making it easy to carry around with you.

4. Manual focus option: While the auto-focus system is convenient, you also have the option to manually focus the camera if you prefer.

Cons:

1. Film cost: Using a film camera means that you'll need to purchase film regularly, which can add up over time.

2. Limited manual controls: While the Argus AF390D does offer some manual controls, it may not be as customizable as some other film cameras.

3. Noise in low-light situations: While the pop-up flash can help illuminate your subject in low-light situations, it can also introduce noise and grain to your images.

4. Slower shooting speed: Film cameras in general tend to have slower shooting speeds compared to digital cameras, which can be a drawback if you're trying to capture fast-moving subjects.

In conclusion, the Argus AF390D offers a convenient and portable auto-focus film camera experience with the added benefit of a pop-up flash. However, it does come with some drawbacks, such as the cost of film and limited manual controls. Ultimately, whether or not the Argus AF390D is the right camera for you will depend on your personal photography preferences and budget.

If you're looking for a film camera with more manual controls and customizability, you may want to consider other options. However, if you value the convenience of auto-focus and the pop-up flash, the Argus AF390D could be a good choice for you.

Overall recommendation: If you're looking for a convenient and portable film camera with auto-focus and a pop-up flash, the Argus AF390D is worth considering. However, be prepared for the cost of film and the limitations of manual controls.
